The Guys say...
The P520 has an edge in zoom range; its 47x zoom outclasses the 30x HX200V. But the HX200V has much better battery life, faster continuous shooting, a wider maximum aperture, a much longer maximum exposure time, and it can shoot in-camera HDR. Neither camera has RAW support, and both are about the same size, but the HX200V's manual zoom/focus ring will appeal to shooters used to DSLRs and other large cameras.
